Adrian Plasencia was born and raised in Miami, Florida and is a Cuban American expressionist painter. Plasencia's work explores human emotion through color and simplified compositions that evoke feeling and emotion. The work can best be defined as a marriage between expressionism and cubism and provides the audience with a means of individual interpretation and comprehension through self-reflection by virtue of non-complex vibrant compositions.
